Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phoenix Miyamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watanabe has chosen Bombage by Tiësto as his entrance music. Kai Watanabe struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Kai Watanabe told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyamoto checks a leg kick nicely.
Watanabe circles away from the clinch attempt.
Miyamoto moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Phoenix Miyamoto has been cut.
Miyamoto tries to close the distance and clinch but Watanabe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Watanabe counters with a nice leg kick.
Watanabe throws a right hand that Miyamoto ducks under and follows up with a left that Miyamoto also avoids with ease.

Watanabe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Miyamoto.
