The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brigglett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brigglett steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vera.
Vera moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Vera misses with the combination.
Brigglett throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Brigglett throws a hook but Vera blocks it.
Brigglett throws a looping overhand right but Vera ducks down to avoid it.

Brigglett drives through and clinches with Vera against the cage.

Vera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vera's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brigglett connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vera scrambles back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Dane Brigglett will probably get the nod.
