Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ballen Gruset!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kong King!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruset looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range.
Gruset keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gruset connects with a body shot.
Gruset ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away.

King moves into range and clinches up with Gruset.
Gruset has a couple of punches blocked by King.
King tries to score a body lock takedown but Gruset shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

King turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and King manages to end up in side control.
You can see the frustration on Gruset's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
King lands a few punches from side control.
An elbow from King crashes against the mat.
Gruset is trying to improve his position.
King scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Gruset to see if he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gruset keeps working.

Gruset is trying to control King's posture but King avoids it.

King lands a couple of decent looking shots.
King is in close to Gruset's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
King lands with a punch from half guard.
Gruset is trying to defend against the ground and pound but King scores with a couple of nice shots.

King lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
King uses his free foot to push down on Gruset's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gruset.
King lands a big shot there that rocks Gruset but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
King trying to control but Gruset is having none of it.
King looking to finish Gruset with some ground and pound. This is bad for Gruset!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, King cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gruset takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
King content just to control the position here.
King looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Gruset is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
King is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gruset can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
King lands a nice shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Gruset is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
King looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Gruset covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

An out of breath Kong King thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
