Derson comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom The Bell Tolls. Devon Crotch has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ansilva Derson's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crotch misses with a two punch combination.
Devon Crotch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Derson.
Crotch fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Crotch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Crotch is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Derson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Derson regains half guard, as Crotch was trying to land strikes.
The fighters are battling for position here. Derson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Crotch throws an elbow that misses. Derson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Crotch 's guard. Nice move by Derson!

Crotch looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Derson passes into half guard.

Crotch misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Derson is hanging on to Crotch 's back as he tries to escape.

Crotch is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Derson has good solid back control here.
Derson gets back to his feet - a bit of a stange decision given the position he was in.
Crotch takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Devon Crotch has been cut.
Crotch fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Derson throws a head kick but Crotch moves out of range.
Derson lands with a slapping head kick.
Good leg kick by Derson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Crotch shoots in looking for a takedown but Derson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crotch 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ansilva Derson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devon Crotch .
Derson connects with the punch.
Crotch blocks a head kick by Derson.
Derson slaps away a takedown attempt from Crotch , before circling back to the center of the mat.

Crotch has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Derson.
Derson lands a leg kick that knocks Crotch off balance momentarily.
Derson catches Crotch with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Derson drops Crotch with a beautiful combination! Crotch stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Derson is looking for the KO!
Crotch is rocked!
That has opened up Devon Crotch 's cut even more.
A nice inside leg kick there by Derson. That's going to slow Crotch down.
Crotch is still on wobbly legs! Can Derson finish him?
Crotch drops his hands momentarily and Derson needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Crotch just on the top of the head. Crotch drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Crotch - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ansilva Derson!
