Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barristan Selmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuma Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson has chosen The Sound of Silence as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barristan Selmy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kuma Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson swinging wildly here.
Nelson throws a leg kick but Selmy sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Selmy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nelson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Selmy has managed to get both his arms back between Nelson's legs - danger averted.
Nelson pulls Selmy in close to his closed guard and prevents Selmy from doing any damage or advancing position.

Nelson has his foot on Selmy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Selmy works his way back into a safe position though.

Selmy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nelson on the ground.

Nelson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Selmy kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Nelson slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
I really don't envy Selmy right now.

Nelson works on Selmy's body with a couple of short punches.
A nice right hand lands inside from Nelson.

Nelson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Selmy seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Nelson is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nelson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Selmy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Selmy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

It looks like Barristan Selmy has been cut.
Nelson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Oh Selmy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kuma Nelson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Nelson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
