The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King looking to score a takedown here. Xylar is defending well but King drives through and ends up in Xylar's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
King looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
King decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Xylar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
King shoots in and bounces Xylar off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
King is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Xylar is working an open guard so King takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
