Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between H Y Kwon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kwon comes into the arena with We Run LA- Ya Boy ft Dr. Hollywood blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves tries a head kick but it misses.

Kwon moves in looking to clinch but Alves pushes him off.
Kwon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Alves thows a body shot but no joy.
A nice leg kick lands there from Alves.
Kwon scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Kwon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alves gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kwon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Alves looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Alves looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Alves!
Kwon is trying to work for a sweep but Alves has mounted him!
Kwon is looking to improve his position but Alves isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kwon wants to control but Alves is having none of it.
Kwon is desperately trying to improve his position but Alves has a good base and remains in mount.
Kwon tries to hold on but Alves pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kwon tries to reverse the position but Alves maintains control.
Alves really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kwon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kwon wants to control but Alves is having none of it.
Kwon regains half guard.
Alves prevents Kwon from improving his position.
Kwon is breathing heavily.
Kwon trying to control here.
Kwon tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Alves has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Alves prevents Kwon from getting the reversal.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kwon tries to hold on but Alves pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Alves takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kwon bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Alves wants to stand and escape but Kwon is having none of it.
Kwon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kwon pushes down on Alves's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Alves has one foot on Kwon's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Alves lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kwon's sensitive parts.
Alves scores with a three punch combo!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that H Y Kwon will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kwon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Alves counters with a stiff right hand.
Kwon closes the distance but Alves moves to the side
and Alves counters with an inside leg kick.
Alves looks to land a combination but Kwon avoids it well.
Alves lands a head kick. Kwon smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kwon misses with a straight right.
Kwon takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A jab-cross combination lands for Alves and sends Kwon crashing to the mat! Alves follows him down to the mat - Kwon regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Kwon is rocked!
Kwon is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Alves pulls his head out easily.
Oh Kwon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kwon is trying to get back to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Alves decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Kwon seems to have got his legs back now.
Alves throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kwon.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kwon throws a series of punches but Alves moves out of range.
Alves scores with a three punch combo!
Kwon misses with a body shot.
Kwon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Alves counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kwon's knee momentarily.
Kwon misses with the combination.
Kwon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Alves swats away the attempt to clinch by Kwon.
Kwon shoots in for a double leg but Alves sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alves pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Some wild striking there from Kwon.
Daniel Alves is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kwon lands a head shot.
Kwon lands with a right hand.
Kwon throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Alves stumbling backwards into the cage! Alves bounces back off the cage towards Kwon, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Kwon lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Kwon celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). H Y Kwon!
