Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hammer.
Hammer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fain circles away.
Hammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fain's waist but Fain gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hammer off to one side.
Wladimir Fain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Hammer.
Hammer throws a right hand that Fain ducks under and follows up with a left that Fain also avoids with ease.
Fain is looking to clinch but Hammer is avoiding it.
Hammer swats away the attempt to clinch by Fain.
Fain fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hammer has a takedown stuffed.
Fain moves in looking to clinch but Hammer pushes him off.
Hammer works over Fain's head and body with a nice combination.
Fain throws a head kick but Hammer moves out of range.

Fain takes the fight into the clinch.
Fain is trying to break free.
Hammer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hammer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fain doesn't manage to clinch there - Hammer circles away.
Hammer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hammer shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Fain tries to roll over but Hammer keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fain is working hard here to advance position.

Fain preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Hammer wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Fain's closed guard. He's half up but Fain has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Fain pivots and extends the arm, Hammer falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Fain! Well done that man!
