The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoetro shoots in for a double leg but Van Der Moot sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Van Der Moot keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zoetro.
Van Der Moot throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Zoetro showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Van Der Moot.
Van Der Moot throws a right hand that Zoetro ducks under and follows up with a left that Zoetro also avoids with ease.
Van Der Moot throws a big shot that misses.
Zoetro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Van Der Moot sprawls well initially but Zoetro persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Zoetro tries to pass the half guard into mount. Van Der Moot knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Van Der Moot can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Henry Zoetro.

and Van Der Moot counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Henry Zoetro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Der Moot lands a nice looking body shot.
Van Der Moot lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zoetro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zoetro shoots in looking for a takedown. Van Der Moot tries to sprawl out of it but Zoetro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Van Der Moot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henry Zoetro. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Van Der Moot drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Zoetro right on the button. Zoetro goes down! Van Der Moot follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Van Der Moot gets the win via TKO!
