PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellison has chosen im bad as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Antonio Ellison told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Patton has his foot on Ellison's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ellison works his way back into a safe position though.

Patton shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ellison is trying to defend but Patton finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Patton connects with a nice short shot to Ellison's temple.
