Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and EJ Vanz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that EJ Vanz was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanz lands a front kick.
Drago goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Drago lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Drago lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Good exchange - Vanz coming out on top.
Vanz dives in and grabs Drago's left leg, looking for a takedown. Drago pushes down on Vanz's head and hops out.
Vanz throws a push kick but Drago slaps the foot to one side.
Vanz pushes Drago up against the cage in a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vanz breaks from the clinch.
Vanz takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Drago looks to land a combination but Vanz avoids it well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Vanz.
Drago throws a good cross that connects.
Drago keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ivan Drago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of EJ Vanz.
Drago lands with a cross.
Vanz is rocked!

Drago shoots and scores a devastating slam takedown! Vanz is unconscious as Drago celebrates over his stricken foe!

A relieved looking Ivan Drago thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
