Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dave Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Humphrey Bogary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Humphrey Bogary!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bogary swivels and escapes.
Norton shoots in looking for a takedown. Bogary tries to sprawl out of it but Norton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bogary manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Norton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dave Norton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Norton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bogary's waist but Bogary gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Norton off to one side.

Bogary has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Norton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bogary looking to break Norton's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Norton remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Bogary will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Bogary is trying to stick to Norton's back but Norton is turning into Bogary. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bogary's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Norton.

Norton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bogary is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Norton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Norton is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bogary has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bogary tries to improve position but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bogary throws a right and a left that both miss.

Norton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bogary takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

A head kick from Norton lands but Bogary takes it in his stride.

Norton feints and then cracks Bogary's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bogary down.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Norton shoots in and bounces Bogary off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Norton postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bogary is looking for a triangle but Norton pushes his legs off easily.

Bogary had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Norton is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bogary Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Norton's back instead.
Norton turns into Bogary and is now in his guard.

Norton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bogary swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bogary has his foot on Norton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Norton works his way back into a safe position though.
Bogary is breathing heavily.

Norton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Norton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Norton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bogary's guard.
