The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Niemen coming out on top.
Voskresensky throws a low kick but it's checked well by Niemen.
Voskresensky fails with a takedown attempt.
Voskresensky misses with a takedown attempt - Niemen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Voskresensky on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Niemen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Voskresensky under the eye.
It looks like Felix Voskresensky has been cut.
Niemen slips under a jab from Voskresensky.
A left lands for Niemen.
Voskresensky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Niemen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Voskresensky somewhat.

Niemen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Voskresensky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Niemen stuffs the takedown.
Voskresensky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Niemen moves away.
A jab from Niemen does it's job there.
Niemen's corner calls for a 1-2. Niemen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Voskresensky. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Voskresensky shoots in for a takedown but Niemen shows good takedown defense.
Voskresensky is breathing heavily.
Niemen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The crowd cheers as Niemen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Voskresensky doesn't seem phased though.
Niemen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Voskresensky.

Niemen connects with a right hand. Voskresensky shakes it off.
Voskresensky on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Niemen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Voskresensky is rocked!
Niemen might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Voskresensky switches off momentarily and Niemen cracks him with a monster right hand! Voskresensky topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Niemen dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Niemen!

During a confident post fight interview, Czesio Niemen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
