Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gniewomir Kowalek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Lamzak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Lamzak. No joy for Kowalek on that attempt.
Lamzak lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kowalek circles away quickly and effectively.
Lamzak jabs at Kowalek's body.

Kowalek looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Lamzak is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kowalek is controlling him.
Lamzak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kowalek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lamzak has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kowalek off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kowalek shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lamzak pinned against the cage. Lamzak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gniewomir Kowalek. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kowalek misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kowalek is breathing heavily.
Lamzak misses with a double jab.
Kowalek tries to close the distance and clinch but Lamzak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kowalek takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Gniewomir Kowalek has been cut.
Kowalek slips a jab and a cross from Lamzak.
Lamzak lands a jab.

Lamzak lands a big head kick that sends Kowalek tumbling to the mat! Lamzak takes a step backwards and waves Kowalek back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Mitchell Lamzak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kowalek shoots in but Lamzak avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Oh Kowalek is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lamzak connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kowalek momentarily.
Kowalek walks straight into a right hand from Lamzak - that's dropped him! Lamzak jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kowalek from any more punishment! Kowalek complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Mitchell Lamzak was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
