The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Friedmon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Gracie is working to avoid the ground and pound but Friedmon connects with a decent elbow.
Gracie wants to control but Friedmon postures up.
Friedmon lands a few punches from side control.
