The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Albacete.
Albacete in side control, throwing shots but MaClough defends.

Albacete stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Albacete misses with a two punch combination.
Albacete bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Albacete fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Albacete swats away the attempt to clinch by MaClough.
A swing and a miss from MaClough.
Albacete misses with a head kick.
Albacete is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Albacete uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from MaClough.
MaClough lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Albacete backs up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
MaClough throws a hook but Albacete avoids it easily.

Albacete displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as MaClough throws out the jab.
MaClough throws a big shot that misses.

Albacete pulls out of a head kick attempt.
MaClough is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Albacete's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
MaClough looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Albacete shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Albacete showed some decent athleticism there.
MaClough is pressing down on Albacete's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
MaClough manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Albacete tries to hold on but MaClough pushes him away.
Albacete looks gassed!
MaClough unloads with some shots from mount but Albacete bucks and avoids them well.

MaClough working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Albacete turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips MaClough off and cradles Albacete's limp body as MaClough celebrates with his corner.
