Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Andromalius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Mattlock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mattlock comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Click Click Boom kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mattlock is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mattlock wants to slow Andromalius down by chopping away at his legs.
Mattlock takes a jab right on the kisser.
Andromalius throws a series of punches but Mattlock moves out of range.
Mattlock throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Andromalius.
Mattlock ducks under a wild hook from Andromalius.

Shane Mattlock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Andromalius counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Mattlock down! Andromalius is looking to finish but Mattlock is intelligently defending himself.
Mattlock is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Andromalius gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Mattlock doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Andromalius counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mattlock!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mattlock is controlling an arm, preventing Andromalius from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Mattlock wants to improve his position but Andromalius is controlling well.
Andromalius decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Andromalius throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mattlock counters with a shoot takedown. Andromalius fights it but they end up in guard.
Andromalius is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mattlock wanted to stand there but Andromalius had control of the position.
Mattlock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Andromalius swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Mattlock counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mattlock takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Andromalius wants to get back to his feet but Mattlock is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Andromalius pushes Mattlock off and gets back to his feet.

and Andromalius counters with a single leg into guard. Mattlock didn't expect that.
