The crowd seem to be enjoying Tonying 's choice of entrance music: NAS - Hate Me Now. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson fails to land with a series of punches.
Wilson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like The Legendary Tonying has been cut.
Wilson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wilson misses with a takedown

and Tonying counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Tonying manages to escape and get back to his feet!

and Tonying counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Wilson is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Horrible takedown by Tonying or perhaps it was just good defense by Wilson which made him look bad.

Wilson is not content to let Tonying control the position.

Tonying looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wilson is trying to stand.

Wilson wants to control but Tonying is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Tonying working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Wilson's thigh. Wilson counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Wilson trying to keep a closed guard but Tonying is proving a slippery customer.
Wilson has a closed guard, preventing Tonying from standing up.
Tonying looking to sit in guard and control but Wilson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Tonying is looking for a triangle but Wilson pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tonying escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wilson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Nick Wilson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Wilson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Wilson won't allow Tonying to sweep him here.

Wilson is pushing down on Tonying 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tonying is fighting to maintain full guard but Wilson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Wilson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tonying 's head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

No joy there for Wilson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wilson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tonying .
Wilson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Tonying counters with a three punch combo that has Wilson backing up. Wilson nods at Tonying to acknowledge the strikes.

Wilson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Tonying to counter with a crisp jab.
Tonying paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Tonying uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wilson.
Wilson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tonying 's waist but Tonying gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilson off to one side.
Nick Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tonying throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tonying looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tonying postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wilson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tonying , into his guard.
