Maier comes to the cage accompanied by Apaga mas não bate. Coleman has chosen Eminem - Mosh as his entrance music. Sepp Maier could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tito Coleman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Sepp Maier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Tito Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maier bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Coleman clinches.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Maier tries for a takedown. No joy.
Coleman lands a shoulder strike.
Maier goes for a takedown in the clinch but Coleman prevents it.
Maier jumps guard but Coleman turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Maier has a couple of punches blocked by Coleman.
Maier is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Coleman to keep the fight standing.
Maier goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Maier drops back looking for a leg! Coleman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Coleman manages to kick Maier off! Maier jumps back into Coleman's guard.

Maier drops back, looking for a kneebar! Coleman looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Coleman looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Coleman!
Maier tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Coleman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Coleman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Coleman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Maier escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Maier is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Coleman wants to improve his position but Maier is controlling well.

Maier is trying to work for a kimura but Coleman is defending well.

Maier looking for a submission but Coleman manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Maier throws an elbow that misses. Coleman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Maier's guard. Nice move by Coleman!

and Coleman counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Coleman stuffs the takedown.
Coleman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Maier fails to land the takedown.
Coleman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Maier's head.
Maier tries to clinch but Coleman is having none of it.

Maier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Coleman.
Coleman does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Maier misses with a series of wild punches.

Maier swings around for an armbar but Coleman sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Maier's guard.

Coleman stands up over Maier, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Maier is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Coleman rolls with it to try and escape but Maier cranks on the arm and Coleman is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
