Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dre Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brady Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Battle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, VICTORY REMIX. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brady Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Harrison misses with a takedown attempt - Battle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Harrison shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Battle as he jumps to the side.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Harrison shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Battle manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Battle jumps guard but Harrison turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Battle drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Harrison gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Harrison is trying to trip Battle. He has hold of a leg but Battle is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Harrison persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Harrison wants to control from the top but Battle keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harrison throws a nice looking combination but Battle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Harrison might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
