Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Derric Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Balaur Bondoc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bondoc comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pastor Troy - Vica Versa kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Rose misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bondoc.
Bondoc misses with a head kick.
Rose thows a body shot but no joy.
Rose loads up on a big right hand but Bondoc slips the punch.
Danga de danga de dang - Rose scores with a four punch combination!
Bondoc doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rose scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bondoc in his tracks.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bondoc!
Rose misses with a hook
and Bondoc counters with a series of strikes. Rose will be more careful next time no doubt.

Bondoc delivers a nice body kick.
Oh Rose is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rose throws an off balance right hand
and Bondoc counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Rose has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Balaur Bondoc!
A determined Balaur Bondoc didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
