Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Per Saukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Anus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saukko comes to the cage accompanied by Jedi Mind Tricks - Genghis Khan . The crowd seem to be enjoying Anus's choice of entrance music: Nick Diaz Rap Song. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Saukko tenderised Anus's leg. Anus is trying to keep his angry face on.
Saukko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A right-left combo lands from Anus.
Saukko throws a nice inside leg kick.

and Anus makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Anus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saukko but Saukko pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Anus throws a big shot that misses.
Anus connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Saukko momentarily.
Anus lands a nice shot to the body.
Saukko lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Saukko shoots in for a double leg but Anus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Anus is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Saukko jumps into side control!
Saukko throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Anus gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Saukko is in a horrible position here. Anus smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
