Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klein East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Ballinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think East might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cold as Ice- M.O.P.. Ballinger has chosen A Scottish Soldier by Andy Stewart as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Ballinger misses.
Ballinger tries to close the distance and clinch but East swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
East cracks Ballinger with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ballinger looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
East keeps the fight on the outside.

Ballinger pulls out of a head kick attempt.
East lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A punch lands to the side of Ballinger 's head but he takes it in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

East shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ballinger pinned against the cage. Ballinger gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ballinger looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! East has picked Ballinger up and slammed him! Ballinger can't keep hold of the triangle and East manages to pass to side control!

East throws a low kick, looking for Ballinger's leg but Ballinger calmly moves out of range.

East is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ballinger crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from East - the referee stops the clock and Ballinger gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says East. Ballinger manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ballinger's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

East clobbers Ballinger with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
East turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Klein East is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Ballinger throws a lazy right hand but East sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
East fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ballinger.
Ballinger is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
East shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ballinger sprawls well. Ballinger wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. East gets slowly back to his feet.

Well East has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
