The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klingbeil doesn't manage to clinch there - Cage circles away.

Klingbeil throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cage was covering up waiting for the punch and Klingbeil finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cage is looking for a sweep. Klingbeil is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Klingbeil tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cage knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kurt Klingbeil just wasn't active enough.

Cage closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Klingbeil did well to prevent Cage getting side control.
