Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hain comes to the cage accompanied by Time Frame by Dom and Roland. Cross has chosen The American Dream Song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hain avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cross is looking to land body kicks.
Hain swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cross tried to score with a low kick but Hain checks it.
Hain throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cross makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hain on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Cross clobbers Hain with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Hain counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cross's guard now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hain takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hain is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Hain is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Cross has the hooks in. Hain is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cross is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

I would just about give that final round to David Cross.
