Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker misses with a straight left.
Barker throws a looping overhand right but Jacare ducks down to avoid it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jacare is defended easily by Barker.
Barker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jacare moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Barker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jacare moves away.
Barker wants to clinch up but Jacare keeps it at a distance.

Jacare drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Barker has Jacare pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jacare thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Barker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Barker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jacare. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bob Barker was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Jacare shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Barker as he jumps to the side.
Jacare takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Barker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bob Barker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jacare.

Jacare feints and as Barker raises his hands in defense, Jacare changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jacare won't allow Barker to sweep him here.

Barker working for a triangle but Jacare defends it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Barker is looking to stand up but Jacare isn't so interested in that idea.

Barker can't keep his opponent in guard - Jacare advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Jacare in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Barker tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jacare!
