Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leon Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Smith!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots and misses
and Vega counters with a solid body kick.
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Vega sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Smith steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Vega. That one must have hurt.
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vega.
Smith tries to clinch up.
Smith throws a lazy right hand but Vega sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Smith on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Vega tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vega throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease.
Vega scores with a decent looking hook.

Smith is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Vega.
Vega swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vega tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vega to the ground. Vega escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Leon Vega has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Smith.

Smith fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vega avoids it really well and circles away.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vega sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

It looks like John Smith has been cut.
Vega is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Vega shows good takedown defense.
Smith is trying desperately to land a takedown but Vega is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Smith.

Smith has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Vega.

Vega gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Smith wants to pass the guard but Vega is keeping the position.
Vega knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Smith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That was a close second round but I would say that Leon Vega will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Smith has control of Vega's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Vega regains control of the situation pretty easily.
