Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
yAkoi throws an off balance right hand
and Kunaida counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
yAkoi tries for a takedown but Kunaida sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kunaida thumps yAkoi with a low kick.
yAkoi shoots for a double leg takedown but Kunaida sprawls well. He's pushed yAkoi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kunaida misses with a series of wild punches.

and Kunaida counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Kunaida stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kunaida wants it to stay on the feet.

yAkoi is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kunaida is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for yAkoi.
