Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Kuraba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fat Ronaldo!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuraba has a takedown stuffed.

Ronaldo slaps away a takedown attempt from Kuraba, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Kuraba changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ronaldo tries to avoid it but Kuraba manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ronaldo to the ground. Ronaldo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kuraba tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kuraba has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kuraba cracks Ronaldo with a big right hand but Ronaldo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Kuraba postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Kuraba is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ronaldo sees it coming and defends easily.
Kuraba seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ronaldo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Kuraba is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ronaldo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Ronaldo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oh Kuraba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ronaldo connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Kuraba covering up! Ronaldo comes in with a big uppercut and Kuraba goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
