Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juan Carlos Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Roberts and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bolt.
Martinez is looking to chop away at Bolt's legs.
A head kick misses from Martinez.
Martinez connects with a right hand. Bolt shakes it off.
Bolt shoots in but Martinez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bolt shoots in for a double leg but Martinez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bolt fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Bolt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bolt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Martinez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bolt is working for a kimura but Martinez is defending it quite comfortably.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Martinez can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bolt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Martinez is just riding it out for now. Bolt eventually gives up the hold.
Bolt working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Martinez tries to get to full guard but Bolt has control of the leg.
Bolt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Martinez throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Martinez is trying to control Bolt's posture. Bolt takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Martinez! Bolt is rotating here... this could be the end... Martinez is out! Bolt has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Felix Bolt!
Felix Bolt spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
