Blachowicz has chosen Rodogost-Tam Skad Pochodzę as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blachowicz tries for a takedown but Demir circles away easily
and Demir counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Demir closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Demir scores with a shot to the side of Blachowicz's head.

It looks like Jan Blachowicz has been cut.

Demir has Blachowicz pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Demir pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Blachowicz tumbling to the mat - Demir dives into Blachowicz's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Blachowicz throws his legs up looking for a submission but Demir uses it to pass to side control.
Blachowicz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Demir wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Demir's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Blachowicz is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kadir Demir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Blachowicz.

Demir creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Blachowicz's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Blachowicz drops to his knees and Demir pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

During a confident post fight interview, Kadir Demir thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
