The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Straikker walks into a straight right hand from Snake Hunter.
Snake Hunter shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Straikker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Straikker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Straikker tries to get out of the position.
Snake Hunter lands a couple of elbows.
Straikker looking for a sweep. Not yet Straikker, not yet.
Straikker wants to hit a switch here but Snake Hunter passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Straikker there!
Snake Hunter cracks Straikker with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snake Hunter working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Straikker turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Snake Hunter off and cradles Straikker's limp body as Snake Hunter celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Dutch Snake Hunter!
