The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ransel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ferreyra as he jumps to the side.
Ransel moves to clinch but Ferreyra breaks away
letting Ferreyra counter with a right hand.

Ferreyra drives through and clinches with Ransel against the cage.
Ferreyra jumps guard but Ransel stands there with Ferreyra around his waist. Ferreyra gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ferreyra has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ransel after a bit of a struggle.
Ferreyra tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ransel smiles and moves away.

Ransel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ferreyra's waist but Ferreyra gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ransel off to one side.

Ferreyra feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You get the feeling that Ransel really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Well Ferreyra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
