Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Tretiak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommi Kauri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladimir Tretiak looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kauri lands a nice hook to Tretiak's body. Tretiak takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Tretiak has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tretiak there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kauri has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tretiak finds it's way round the side to connect with Kauri's head.

and Tretiak counters with a single leg into guard. Kauri didn't expect that.

Tretiak postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kauri is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tretiak, into his guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tommi Kauri hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
