The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Simpson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Simpson tries to clinch there but Dega circles away.
Dega connects with a leg kick. Simpson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Bo Dega is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Dega! Simpson is out on his feet! Dega rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Simpson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Simpson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
