PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Julian The Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Griswold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Fury comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - White America. Griswold comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hooking Up The Lights kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The Fury has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rusty Griswold hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Julian The Fury has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rusty Griswold.

Griswold feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Griswold shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as The Fury sprawls well. The Fury wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Griswold gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well Griswold has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
