Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Corner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Dylan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tony Corner has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Corner!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Dylan!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corner digs a good body shot into Dylan's ribs.
Dylan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Corner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Corner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dylan.
Corner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dylan manages to avoid it.
Corner lunges at Dylan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dylan's hand.
Corner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Corner throws a lazy uppercut

and Dylan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Corner!

Corner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dylan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Daniel Dylan has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Dylan tries to close the distance and clinch but Corner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dylan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Corner as he jumps to the side.

Corner throws the left hand but Dylan avoids the punch easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd cheers as Corner lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dylan doesn't seem phased though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel Dylan dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Dylan clinches.
Dylan trying to control the position but instead, Corner has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dylan into the cage.

Dylan wants to take the fight to the mat but Corner manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Corner tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dylan's elbow.

Dylan has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Corner regains guard immediately.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Daniel Dylan was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Dylan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Corner.
Corner fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Dylan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Corner tries to bench press Dylan off him but Dylan keeps the position.
Corner is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Dylan throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Dylan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Corner wants to hold on but Dylan pushes him away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Daniel Dylan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Corner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dylan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

No luck for Corner with that takedown attempt.

Corner walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dylan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Corner leaves Dylan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Corner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Dylan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Corner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dylan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That was a close round but Tony Corner did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Dylan shoots in looking for a takedown. Corner tries to sprawl out of it but Dylan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Corner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dylan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Corner swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Tony Corner will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Dylan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Corner but Corner pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dylan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Corner to the mat! Corner manages to get full guard.
Corner wants to sweep here but Dylan controlling him for the moment.
Corner is looking to stand back up but Dylan counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Corner.
Corner tries to kick Dylan off but Dylan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Corner is trying to maintain the position but Dylan is very close to passing his half guard.
Dylan is looking to stall here but Corner recovers full guard.

The ground and pound from Dylan seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Dylan goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Corner rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dylan's guard! Nice work there by Corner!

Dylan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Corner thows a huge punch but Dylan dodges it nicely.
Dylan wants to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tony Corner.
I think Corner has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
