Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bitis Gabonica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabonica comes to the cage accompanied by Reptile by Skrillex. Glen Davis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gabonica shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Davis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Davis is trying to get an arm triangle but Gabonica is defending well.
Gabonica pushes Davis away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Davis gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Davis fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Davis is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gabonica will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Gabonica throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Gabonica shoots in looking for a takedown. Davis tries to sprawl out of it but Gabonica keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Davis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Davis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gabonica keeps working.

Davis doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gabonica counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Davis gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gabonica tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gabonica to the ground. Gabonica escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bitis Gabonica has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glen Davis.
Gabonica tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
