Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Cicero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cicero has chosen Woke Up This Morning as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Cicero!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bot scores with a takedown into Cicero's guard.
Bot trying to control but Cicero is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bot postures up in Cicero's guard and throws a big left but Cicero blocks it.
Bot connects with a couple of short punches.

Bot is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cicero is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cicero has escaped and now he's on top!

Cicero won't allow Bot to sweep him here.
Bot will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cicero tries to free his leg and advance position but Bot is retaining full guard.

Bot keeping moving, preventing Cicero from controlling successfully.
Bot is controlling Cicero's posture.

We're going to have a standup here because Wrestling Bot wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Cicero throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bot stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Cicero misses with a series of wild punches.
Cicero moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bot avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cicero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bot closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cicero parries the strikes from Bot easily there. Bot is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cicero to escape.
Bot lands some shots froms side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bot is looking to take a break and control but Cicero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bot has hold of Cicero's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Cicero tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bot cranks the arm and Cicero screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Cicero, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Wrestling Bot!
After winning the bout, Wrestling Bot thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
