Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bones Bolio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolio lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Davis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bolio to the ground. Davis is now in Bolio's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Davis prevents Bolio from getting back to his feet.

Davis stands up and waves to Bolio to follow him.

Davis clinches with his opponent.
Bolio wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Davis has him pressed against the cage.

Davis has Bolio pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Davis pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bolio tumbling to the mat - Davis dives into Bolio's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bolio can't keep his opponent in guard - Davis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Davis tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bolio knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Davis is working for a kimura but Bolio is defending it quite comfortably.
Davis passes to full mount!

Bolio is wriggling around trying to escape.

Davis looking for a guillotine from mount but Bolio is having none of it.
Bolio tries to hold on but Davis postures up.

Bolio defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Davis.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davis looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davis is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bolio is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bolio flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Davis anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bolio and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Davis slips an arm under Bolio chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Davis has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Davis is squeezing on Bolio like an anaconda would it's prey. Bolio fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
