Hansson comes to the cage accompanied by Saliva - Click Click Boom. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ricard's choice of entrance music: Frank The Tank. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ricard tries for a takedown but Hansson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ricard swinging wildly here.
Ricard drops Hansson with a nice combination! Ricard dives into Hansson's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Hasse Hansson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ricard stands up from Hansson's guard - Ricard perhaps looking for a knockout.
Ricard tries to close the distance and clinch but Hansson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hansson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ricard throws a series of punches but Hansson avoids them all with ease.

It looks like Frank Ricard has been cut.
Hansson tries to bum rush Ricard with a series of wild strikes but Ricard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ricard gets a double leg takedown into Hansson's guard.
Ricard throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hansson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ricard gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ricard shoots in for a double leg but Hansson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ricard closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hansson is trying to stand.
Ricard works his way into side control.

Ricard misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Ricard cracks Hansson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Hansson is rocked!
Ricard scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Hansson is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ricard can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

In his post fight interview, Frank Ricard started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
