PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antti Timonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ville Ellimaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellimaki has chosen Somos de calle as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellimaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Timonen moves away.
Ellimaki slips under a jab from Timonen.

Ellimaki moves into range and clinches up with Timonen.

Ellimaki is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Timonen can't fight it off and eventually Ellimaki manages to take the fight to the floor. Timonen looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ellimaki has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Timonen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
