Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Bash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bash has chosen Black Sabbath - Paranoid as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Steel misses with a body kick.
Bash throws a right and a left that both miss.
Steel connects with an inside leg kick.
Bash wants to slow Steel down by chopping away at his legs.
Steel thows a body shot but no joy.
Steel fails with a takedown attempt.
Bash misses with a double jab.

Steel tries to keep at a distance but Bash has taken the fight into the clinch.
Steel drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Steel is trying to break the clinch but Bash is controlling him.
Steel drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bash gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bash fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Steel, pushing him back against the cage.

Bash manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Bash pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Steel throws a head kick but Bash moves out of range.

Steel tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bash is able to avoid easily.
Steel swats away the attempt to clinch by Bash.
Steel misses with a takedown attempt - Bash sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bash throws a series of punches but Steel avoids them all with ease.

No joy there for Bash, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Steel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Steel is breathing heavily.
Steel dodges the punch combination from Bash.
Steel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bash lands with a kick to the temple. Steel shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bash throws a head kick but Steel moves out of range.
Bash misses the shot to the body.
Bash throws a lazy right hand but Steel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Bash on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Jon Bash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bash has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bash there as he acknowledges the shot.
Steel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Steel lands a jab to the head.

Steel lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bash's sensitive parts.
Bash swats away the attempt to clinch by Steel.

Steel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bash manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jon Bash will probably get the nod.

That's time! Steel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Steel wants to clinch.
Steel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bash lands with an uppercut that bounces Steel off the cage and back into range.
Bash slips under a jab from Steel.
Bash throws a nice looking combination but Steel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Steel slips a jab and a cross from Bash.
Bash stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Steel.
Steel throws a shot from downtown. Bash moves away and avoids it.
Steel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bash gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jon Bash seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Steel dives in and grabs Bash's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bash pushes down on Steel's head and hops out.
Bash takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bash swinging wildly here.
Bash's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Steel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bash scrambles back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bash throws the left hand but Steel avoids the punch easily.
Steel scores with a leg kick.
Bash is breathing heavily.
Steel fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bash.
Steel cracks Bash with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Bash falls to his knees and Steel doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
