The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz with a jab.
Ortiz lands a lovely overhand right.
Ortiz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That kick from Ortiz tenderised De Lucas's leg. De Lucas is trying to keep his angry face on.
De Lucas chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ortiz can pounce on him.
Ortiz misses with a looping right.

Ortiz cracks De Lucas with an open hand slap.
A clash of legs there as Ortiz blocks the low kick.
De Lucas is breathing heavily.

Ortiz lands a big shot that drops De Lucas! Can he finish him?

It looks like Samuel De Lucas has been cut.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
De Lucas being controlled here, momentarily.
Ortiz landing with the ground and pound.

Ortiz stands and steps away. De Lucas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

De Lucas throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ortiz lands an overhand right.
Ortiz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt De Lucas.
An inside leg kick lands from Ortiz.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ortiz connects with a body shot that sends De Lucas's belly button to the back.
Ortiz lands an uppercut, right on the button! De Lucas tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
