Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mario Dusiciel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Edmund Queensberry!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dusiciel ducks under a wild hook from Queensberry.
Dusiciel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dusiciel scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Queensberry moves in looking to clinch but Dusiciel pushes him off.
Queensberry doesn't manage to clinch there - Dusiciel circles away.
Queensberry takes one to the chin there.
Queensberry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dusiciel manages to avoid it.
Dusiciel moves away from the strike by Queensberry.
Dusiciel on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Queensberry with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Queensberry is looking to score with low kicks.
Dusiciel gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Queensberry.

Queensberry will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Queensberry moves in looking to clinch but Dusiciel pushes him off.
Queensberry looks to land a combination but Dusiciel avoids it well.

Dusiciel moves into range and clinches up with Queensberry.
Queensberry tries to land knees in the clinch but Dusiciel avoids the damage to the body.
Dusiciel managing to block the knees to the body from Queensberry.
Queensberry is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Dusiciel is defending well for now.

Dusiciel manages to break the clinch.

Dusiciel shoots in looking for a takedown but Queensberry manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dusiciel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dusiciel slips a straight right by Queensberry.

Dusiciel feints and as Queensberry raises his hands in defense, Dusiciel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dusiciel won't allow Queensberry to sweep him here.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dusiciel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dusiciel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Queensberry is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dusiciel is controlling him.

Queensberry looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dusiciel postures up in Queensberry's guard and throws a big left but Queensberry blocks it.

Queensberry is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dusiciel is controlling him.

Queensberry had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dusiciel defends it easily.
Dusiciel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Queensberry swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dusiciel throws a big elbow that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dusiciel forces his way into half guard.
Dusiciel winds up and cracks Queensberry with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Queensberry wants to improve his position but Dusiciel is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dusiciel is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Queensberry defends it well.
Dusiciel is trying to control. Queensberry wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Queensberry is controlling Dusiciel's trapped leg to prevent Dusiciel from advancing to side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Queensberry is staying active underneath Dusiciel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice strikes from Dusiciel there.
Dusiciel lands strikes from half guard.
Queensberry is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dusiciel working over Queensberry with some ground and pound. Queensberry looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mario Dusiciel will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dusiciel checks a leg kick.
Queensberry rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Dusiciel counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Queensberry!
Queensberry is trying to escape the mount.
Dusiciel looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.


It looks like Edmund Queensberry has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Queensberry is bucking up trying to escape but Dusiciel cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


The cut above Edmund Queensberry's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Edmund Queensberry's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Edmund Queensberry's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mario Dusiciel!
A less than humble Mario Dusiciel misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
