The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corvia uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Diaz.
A swing and a miss from Diaz.
Diaz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Corvia in his tracks.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Diaz, as that shot connected.
Corvia misses with a takedown attempt - Diaz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Diaz throws a lazy uppercut
and Corvia counters with a big head kick but Diaz shrugs it off.

Corvia drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Corvia stands and throws Diaz's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Corvia tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Corvia has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Corvia is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Diaz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
