The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sotto Jr misses with a takedown attempt - Tolits sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Tolits looks for the body kick but Sotto Jr saw that one coming.
Tolits looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Sotto Jr shoots in for a takedown but Tolits shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sotto Jr fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tolits sprawls well initially but Sotto Jr persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Sotto Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tolits has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sotto Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Tolits's legs - danger averted.
Tolits controls Sotto Jr momentarily but Sotto Jr frees himself.
Tolits is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Sotto Jr wants to pass the guard but Tolits is keeping the position.

Sotto Jr passes Tolits's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sotto Jr scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Tolits has hold of Sotto Jr's hands but Sotto Jr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sotto Jr connects with a nice short shot to Tolits's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
