Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Young!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Young blocks a head kick by Canlas Langrio.
Young throws a right and a left that both miss.
Canlas Langrio jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Young.
A punch combination from Young misses.
Young fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Canlas Langrio on the side of the head.
Young throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Canlas Langrio drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Young wants to get back to his feet but Canlas Langrio passes into half guard.
Canlas Langrio working over Young with some ground and pound. Young looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Canlas Langrio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Young keeps working.

Canlas Langrio is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Canlas Langrio is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Canlas Langrio working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Canlas Langrio is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Young doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Canlas Langrio.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Canlas Langrio is trying to work for a kimura but Young is defending well.

Young is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Canlas Langrio accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Canlas Langrio wants to take a breather but Young is having none of it.

Canlas Langrio is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Young defends it well.

Young keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Canlas Langrio is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Canlas Langrio is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Young wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jiann Canlas Langrio dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Young fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Canlas Langrio avoids a punch combination nicely.
Alexander Young seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Canlas Langrio seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Young shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Canlas Langrio is backing up but Young catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Canlas Langrio covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Young Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Young!
Alexander Young gave a mention to Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
