Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ismael Gesta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ismael Gesta has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ismael Gesta!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwayne Jack!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gesta swivels and escapes.
Gesta is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jack shoots for a takedown but Gesta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jack.
Ismael Gesta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dwayne Jack.
Gesta cracks Jack with an open hand slap.
Jack just misses with a punch to the body.
Good work by Gesta as he checks the leg kick.

Jack is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Gesta is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jack postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gesta is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jack, into his guard.

Gesta stays in close to Jack's body and controls the position.

Jack had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gesta defends it easily.
Gesta wants to stand and escape but instead Jack has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jack working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Jack postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Gesta is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jack is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gesta pulls his head out easily.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dwayne Jack dominated that round.
That's time! Gesta's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Jack shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jack showed some decent athleticism there.
Jack is trying to control the action in half guard but Gesta is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Jack has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gesta knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jack on the ground.
Jack winds up and cracks Gesta with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dwayne Jack showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gesta dips a shoulder and cracks Jack with a mighty uppercut! Jack falls back against the cage and Gesta unloads with a barrage of strikes! Jack is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Gesta screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ismael Gesta!
