Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helm shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sheilds manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sheilds managing to control the position.
Sheilds trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Helm accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Helm has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Helm won't allow Sheilds to sweep him here.
Sheilds should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sheilds tries to close the distance and clinch but Helm swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Helm fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

and Helm counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Sheilds is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Sheilds darts in and clinches Helm up against the cage.
Helm breaks from the clinch.
Helm looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sheilds!
Sheilds tries to hold on but Helm postures up.
Helm is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sheilds has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Tom Helm overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sheilds wants to hold on but Helm pushes him away.
Sheilds is bucking up trying to escape but Helm cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee warns Sheilds that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sheilds is rocked!
It looks like Damein Sheilds has been cut.
A big strike lands for Helm! That's really hurt Sheilds and he's turned his back - Helm keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Helm jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Helm!
Our winner, Tom Helm, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
